My friend Russell Brunsum has a new show online and it is very funny.

There’s a new game in town and it’s called blog tagging.

The person tagged has to tell 5 things about themselves that the blogging community didn’t know. Then they have to tag three more friends with blogs to do the same. It’s like a blog chain letter, but ultimately more fun and really gets those links going.

Everyday since we launched the Internet Marketing Board Game, people call us and want to know how we did it. Well, the key point was that we had the right partners. Some of the biggest internet marketers.

How did we get them to help us?
It took a lot of traveling, but one place that was key for us, was when we attended the JV Alert in San Diego. That event gave us the time we needed with some key marketers and that made a big difference. I'm not talking just about the networking, but the great advice we got from many of them and how some really showed us " The Big Picture" we'll now go after.

Yep, we are recovering from the launch. It was fun but we are exausted. A product launch is for sure an adrenalin rollercoaster. That is why we are kind of quiet for the moment.

Have you ever heard of Cash Flow, the Rich Dad Poor Dad game?

The game is awesome - there are groups of people all throughout the country who meet together each month to play and improve themselves and their businesses.

It is an awesome game and we always wanted to create a game that would teach people about internet Marketing that could have the same impact.

This would make our lives so much easier. We finally did, and launched the game last week. It was a great experience. - All the things you have to go through during a launch and all the things that may go wrong is just impressive.

You have a lot of details to take care of, make sure all the links work, shopping cart, ensure that the merchant account has the proper limit, pray that your partners will do what they said they would, test, test, test... and test!

My biggest worry was not having enough partners, the amount of launches happening at the same time and the fact that I'm a small fish in this big pond.

You see three or four launches in one day, a lot of e-mail coming through and you just think about your chances. Some partners just have to choose who they'll promote, some launches are similar to yours (or the name is).

Not to say that my launch was scheduled a week after Mike Filsaim released his Death of Internet Marketing report. Inside my head I was screaming: "Not Nowwwww!!" - I've to say though, he is more than right. Some things have to change on the way we do these launches.

During some moments I just couldn't figure out how I was going to finish the launch without having a hearth attack first. Somehow, I'm still here.

We launched, and we are very happy.

So, today is the last day and to celebrate we decided to bundle the game with our famous BuzzBooster's Guide to Online Promotion. A great kit with 2 cds, 2 video CD's and a manual teaching how to promote a business online.

So we had an entire week dedicated to the launch of our internet bard game. You saw all of the many blog posts here.

It was a very exciting week that I'm sure I'll never forget. The least I can say is that I've got no more nails. all gone. I bit them.

I learned a lot this week, and in another opportunity I'll share what i've learned with you. However, there is one thing we did that I want to share now.

I haven't seen many internet marketers doing it this way.
We believe a lot in social media, as you probably noticed, and we wanted to show you how this could help a launch. We used several videos for the launch and they worked very well. Many do this.

What did we do different? We sent press releases and notes to bloggers talking about the launch of the game. We did the same with traditional media.

The results? We got several bloggers talking about the game. Good and Bad, their honest opinion.

We also got a lot of traffic coming from those blogs. I'm not talking about affiliates that used their blogs to promote the game, but about bloggers blogging about the game.

We always say that blogs work like press channels and how important they will be in the future when you try to create some buzz. This event just showed us a glimpse of the truth.

On Inc. Magazine this month, they mentioned that bloggers are still few (even though a new blog starts every second) and are an elite, almost saying that they can make very little difference.

Well, for us, they made a big difference.
