SLC, UT Dick Redlein was raised in south California and worked for 22 years in entertainment production.In 1996 he decided to move to Park City and for another 5 years worked in event centers like Delta Center He used to wear a pedometer and realized that on average he would walk 10 to 15 miles a day on concrete floors. On a typical day he would take 10 aspirins to ease his back pain.

One day in Boise while working on an event he saw a pair of Zcoils shoes and tried them. With 5 steps he noticed he was not limping anymore.

The first event he did wearing Z-Coils, he was walking around for 16 hours(12 miles) and he didn't take a single aspirin. At that night, he went to the hotel and took off the shoes, but decided to have them back on in 30 seconds. It just felt better to be on the shoes than bare foot.

For 8 months he wore the Z-coils shoes and then decided he would become a dealer. By that time, his wife was also wearing these shoes. She was ill and they had to go to the U of U for radiation 5 days a week and while they were there people kept asking about the shoes. That's when they decided to open a store in Kamas where they lived. Things went well and after a year hey decided to open a store in Salt Lake City in Holladay.

Unfortunately in January 2005, his wife Susie passed away  and though Dick still misses her terribly, he is really thankful for her leading him into a business that is so rewarding because he knows he changes people's lives every day.

The shoes are great for people with back pain, a number of diseases and people that have to work on their feet the whole day like nurses, waiters and sales people, but not a day goes by that a hiker doesn't stop by to get a pair of shoes to use while practicing his favorite sport.
